I am one of the moms whose daughter has become involved with a young man who has wholeheartedly bought into this movement. I appreciate your writing on the subject so thoroughly, theologically and practically. However, I know that you are a woman, and as such, you and your opinions will not be respected by the Manosphere. I know you work alongside many Traditional Latin Mass Catholics (This young man is TLM) and I would respectfully ask you to admonish the men whom you know personally and who have influence in those spheres of influence to be articulating this message as beautifully and powerfully as you have done in your essays. Our daughter does not speak to us any longer because of our counsel against this movement. Thank you for going to hard places, meeting the current issues with truth, faithfulness and love.
I love this series. So helpful and Illuminative! In an aside, but related to your substack’s title (Through a glass darkly), have you read this interpretation of one of Norman Rockwell’s paintings? Your title made me think of this short post:
