Loved this, Emily. I would really appreciate being able to purchase the essays in full to gift to people if possible. I know a number people who would really appreciate it!
I didn't know manosphere was a thing and actually, I'm grateful to find out about these "movements" from a third side perspective... However, why do I have the feeling that you will lose subscribers again over this 😅😅🙈🙈🙈
Moreover, why do people always have to categorize things and draw strict borders, at the moment I am a stay at home mom, struggling more with humility than with submission, which is to my understanding more complicated word for sheer unquestioning obedience...
Obedience is like a shortcut for me, you don't have to decide anything, and all the responsibility for the consequences is on someone else, which is somewhat liberating, but there is no real freedom in it from my point view.
Excuse my English, not a native speaker, and I do realise I simplify the topic in a sense, but hope you understand what I mean. :)
Thank you for the essay and have a blessed Sunday!

Thank you. I wish Substack offered a way to gift individual essays, but I don’t think they do. Let me do some investigating to see what is possible.
