I have a question on a different topic. Mass with my young kids can be tough and sometimes I wonder about the dichotomy of Catholics stereotypically having larger families but having what can seem like a non-family-friendly hour to get through every week. The Church understands human nature well so it seems odd to me that squirmy toddlers feel out of place at mass. Is it that we have an uptight church culture in North America? Are parents meant to attend different masses and leave their young kids at home? Thank you for any insight you might have!
