The Most Loved and Most Important Thing I've Ever Written

Yes, it’s the beginning of the week and not the end of the week, but on this wonderful Feast of the Guardian Angels, I have some exciting news to share and an invitation for you.

First, the news. The Supper of the Lamb, my second children’s book with Scott Hahn, is coming out one month from today, on November 2. Of all the books I’ve ever written, for children and adults, this is the one I love the most. I think it’s also the most important book I’ve ever written. Based on Scott’s bestselling book for adults, The Lamb’s Supper, it lays a biblical foundation for children (and their parents!) to help them understand the power, the glory, and the truth of the Holy Mass.

Although the book won’t ship for another month, it’s available for pre-order today, exclusively through the St. Paul Center. Pre-orders are so important for authors and publishers, so as a thank you to the first 500 people who pre-order a copy, the St. Paul Center will send out a special bundle of pre-order goodies, based on Tricia Dugat’s bright and engaging illustrations for the book.

So, that was the news. Now, for the invitation. I am looking for 50 friends, from among those who pre-order the book, to help me launch this book into the world next month, and I’m coming to you, my newsletter subscribers, first.

For this launch team, I’m not looking for people with huge accounts and followings. I’m just looking for people who will share enthusiastically about the book on social media during the week of the launch. The only real requirements to apply for a spot on the launch team are that you pre-order the book and have a public social media account.

As part of The Supper of the Lamb launch team, you will receive a free e-book before the book launches, a coupon for 30 percent off a future Emmaus Road Publishing purchase, plus coloring pages, a prayer card, and a frameable print for your family. You’ll also be eligible for special gift giveaways coordinated by me during the launch week, exclusively for launch team members. Additionally, to support you throughout the launch, I will set up a private Facebook group, just for the launch team, where you can ask questions about the book, the launch, and sharing it on social media. I’ll also host a private Zoom call before the book launches to chat with launch team members and share a little more about the book and ways you can help during the launch.

If you are interested in applying to be a part of this launch team, just fill out this form and make sure to pre-order the book before October 11. Again, don’t worry if you don’t have big numbers or if you don’t use all the various social media accounts listed on the form. Those are there so we can keep track of where people are sharing during the launch week.

If you are selected for the team, I’ll get back to you on October 16. You’ll get your free e-book at the same time, so you can see the book even before it ships.
