I am just sending a quick note to explain why the second part of my series on the Manosphere is not showing up in your inbox right now. After a week that included a sick husband and a sick babysitter, I had high hopes of waking up extra early this morning, putting the finishing touches on the essay, then sending it off to you before noon. But at 1 am, I was woken up by Becket, whose allergies were triggering his asthma. I then spent the next few hours administering breathing treatments, holding him, and listening to his breathing to determine if a trip to the ER would be necessary. Fortunately, it wasn’t. But I still couldn’t manage to wake up early and finish the essay, and Chris has commitments that will keep him out of the house (and me with the kids) for the remainder of the afternoon.
I am sorry about that! I try to stick to a pretty strict schedule with these newsletters, but with little ones that’s not always possible. If everyone’s health cooperates, though, I promise to do my best to finish this one up on Monday. So, look for it then. And please say a prayer for our little guy. This month has been rough for him!
It is so hard to be a parent. I appreciate you letting us know. For me personally, an apology is not warranted.
No worries, the manosphere will wait. I hope Becket gets better soon🙏🏻
